It was a lovely, weatherboard home with all original features, but it needed constant maintenance and hours and hours of work. In the end we could bear it no longer and decided to go for a newer, larger house. And yes, when we travel through small towns I always like to imagine that I'm living in one of the older homes and what it would look like inside. It would be a tremendous amount of work to bring a vintage home up to the standard it was when it was built but it would be rewarding. Love your photos and all of the great info!
